Soufriere Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay and explore Dominica in a unique community setting close to numerous attractions and a short drive to the seaside capital of Roseau. 

The guesthouse is located in the idyllic Soufriere Valley, just outside of the friendly fishing village of Soufriere, Dominica. Surrounded by lush forest and just a short walk from natural hot and cold springs, the Guesthouse is an amazing base from which to explore the surrounding villages, hiking trails, Caribbean Sea, and the rest of Dominica!

Our Amenities

The Guesthouse features a well-equipped communal kitchen for self-catering, including local eggs for sale, and often local fruits from the neighboring farmers.

Our solar water heaters (installed on our roof) provide plentiful hot water for great hot showers in every room!

We’re pleased to share our collection of yoga mats and props with guests, and there is plenty of space for stretching and exercise…plus, a yoga trapeze on the balcony! If you’d prefer to relax, we’ve got you covered—our communal balcony includes many hammocks in all shapes and sizes.

And yes—we’ve got fast WiFi throughout the property!

For hikers and nature-lovers: we’re uniquely situated at the end of Segment One of the Waitukubuli National Trail—the first long-distance walking trail in the Caribbean! We’re also just a five minute walk from natural hot and cold springs.

For scuba divers, freedivers, and ocean-lovers: the Caribbean Sea is just minutes away! Experience beautiful coral reefs with Nature Island Divers, or enjoy the deep, warm, current-free waters of the bay learning to freedive with Blue Element Freediving. Snorkeling, sea kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, and relaxing in the natural hot pools at Bubble Beach Spa are other local possibilities.
